Work Performed
The project began with designing the guitar body shape to work as a tabletop while maintaining proper proportions. We selected hardwoods that would provide both visual appeal and structural integrity. The body was shaped using traditional guitar building techniques, then finished with a custom blue color that shifted subtly under different lighting. A custom steel frame was fabricated to support the guitar body at the correct height while complementing the overall design.
Final Result
The finished piece serves as both a functional table and a display of instrument craftsmanship. The blue finish catches light beautifully, and the guitar body proportions create an immediately recognizable silhouette that sparks conversation among visitors.
